Costa Verde Kayaking Trip Highlights
Brazil’s Costa Verde has all the ingredients for an amazing paddling experience.
National Geographic Traveler has called this area ‘a sea kayaker’s dream’ and, with its deserted sandy beaches, tropical islands, Rainforest covered hills and traditional Caiçara fishing villages, it’s easy to see why!
Setting out from the picturesque colonial town of Paraty we spend 02 days paddling the warm waters of the bay of Paraty, stopping at islands and beaches and exploring a tropical mangrove.
Beachfront accommodation in cabins on Vermelha Beach.
As an overnight trip using stable double kayaks in the flat waters of the protected bay of Paraty, this trip is ideal for people wanting to try a multiday sea kayaking trip for the first time.
We spend the night in beachfront accommodation on Vermelha beach, where you'll be able to experience the everyday life, handicrafts and delicious seafood of the remote, local fishing communities.
See some of the abundant wildlife that lives in the Bay of Paraty
There will be plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting, like birds, turtles, and even dolphins, as we paddle through the bay.
If the moon isn't too bright you will be able to see the bioluminescent plankton at night on Vermelha beach and swim in the sparkling waters!
On the way back, with a bit of luck, you might get to see the endangered Golden Lion Tamarin monkey on Mantimento Island!
