A private boat tour is the most relaxing way to explore the beautiful sandy beaches and tropical islands in the bay of Paraty.
We work with the very best small, converted fishing boats with onboard bar and toilet facilities. Experienced local boat captains can show you the best places for swimming, snorkelling and lunch! We also have English and French speaking captains on request.
There is no shortage of amazing beaches and islands to visit. We recommend making four stops – two stops at islands and two stops at beaches. Some of the beaches also have beach kiosks and restaurants where you can stop and have lunch or snacks (not included in price). As you can imagine freshly caught seafood lunch on the beach is difficult to beat!

Called Michael the evening we arrived in Paraty. Expected it to be too late to book a private boat trip for the next day. However that wasn't a problem at all. Ended up having a great day with Daniel, one of Michael's boatmen. Real friendly guy who made us feel at home on his beautiful boat. Made use of the SUP Daniel had on board, we snorkelled surrounded by fish, saw beautiful beaches. Couldn't have been any better! Would highly recommend booking a private tour over the crowded schooner tours we saw during the day as well.
