INTERNATIONS hiking trip to Ponta Negra Fishing village, 25 to 27 July 2014
Explore some of the best beaches on the Green Coast from the car-free fishing village of Ponta Negra. On this trip, after one night in the colonial town of Paraty, we stay in one of the most remote parts of the Juatinga Peninsular Eco-reserve for one night. Although located mid-way between two of the largest cities in South America, Ponta Negra often feels as though it has been forgotten in time. Surrounded by wild and un-spoilt Atlantic Rainforest and without mains electricity the local Caiçara fishing people continue to live off the sea.

Comments about transportation to Paraty and back to São Paulo:
The iadditional charge of R$164 – 222 is dependent on numbers for the transportation to Paraty and back to São Paulo. However, if some of you have cars who can accommodate the participants we can dramatically reduce the cost of this to around R$60-70 per person. Please let me know who of you can provide transport. I am happy to use my car for this and can take 5 with luggage.
